Medical Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing laboratory testing on waived and moderate complexity assays on various specimens as requested by physicians. Perform related duties requested by supervisory personnel.
•Perform & document quality control and proficiency testing.
•Assist with performing preventive maintenance & troubleshooting on all assays & instruments in the lab in accordance with CLIA regs.
•Assists with daily and monthly billing of laboratory tests.
•Demonstrate knowledge & understanding of patient privacy rights.
•Maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial or other sensitive materials & info in printed, electronic or verbal form. Perform routine phlebotomy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences
Requirements:
Ability to interact with the public, works cooperatively with peers as well as members of Leadership and Medical Staff, and creates and maintains positive working relationships with coworkers.
Shift: 10hr nights Mon-Thurs or Fri-Mon
Full-time with benefits - 40 hrs per week
