Responsible for the patient care of the Respiratory Therapy Department in keeping with the overall goals and philosophy of the Cherry County Hospital and professional standards of care for the professional.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following –
Performs respiratory therapy treatments and tests as prescribed by the physician.
Completes all financial and patient records as required.
Maintains equipment in proper working order.
Maintains proper inventory of respiratory supplies.
Maintains accurate patient records.
Must be knowledgeable of state and federal confidentiality laws, including but not limited to HIPAA, and be familiar with and follow all policies, procedures and instructions regarding the privacy and security of protected health information applicable to the position.Must be able to meet physical demands and working conditions, outlined below.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
