Dietary Manager - Dietary
Position Summary:
Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the work performed in the Dietary Department in keeping with the philosophy and objective of the Cherry County Hospital. Responsible for obtaining dietary supplies and equipment. Responsible for formulating menus, supervising preparation and serving of food. Consults with patients and/or family members on matters pertaining to their diet.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required; 10 years of food service experience can be substituted for High school diploma or Equivalent (GED). Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least 3 years of food service experience is required, with at least 1 year in the healthcare industry. Must be a State approved Dietary Manager or willing to become a State approved Dietary Manager within 1 year of accepting position. Certification from the National Dietary Managers Association is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $22.00 per hour
