Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator II
Location: Cherry County Hospital
Position Summary:
Cherry County Hospital and Clinic is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to support and enhance our HR processes. In this role, you will manage employee health and welfare plans, serve as a liaison between staff and insurance providers, and resolve benefits-related issues to foster positive employee relations. You will ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while also promoting our wellness programs and providing administrative support to HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Address employee inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Reconcile benefits statements and conduct audits of payroll deductions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of health and wellness initiatives.
- Plan and coordinate health screenings, fairs, and nutrition/exercise programs.
- Evaluate wellness program effectiveness and make improvements as needed.
- Create and deliver presentations on health and wellness topics.
- Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of health.
- Support the performance review process and assist in onboarding new employees.
- Manage HR administrative tasks, including record keeping and payroll processing.
- Maintain confidentiality of HR files and coordinate employee termination processes.
- Organize special events such as benefits enrollment and employee recognition activities.
- Comply with all Cherry County Hospital personnel policies and perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS.
- Knowledge of human resources principles and payroll administration preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and corporate compliance policies.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- HR certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
Physical Demands:
- Primarily sedentary position with minimal lifting required.
