Biography:

Jared L. Michalson, MD is an experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in orthopedic trauma, complex fractures of the upper and lower extremities, non-healing fractures, and primary and revision hip and knee replacement.

Dr. Michalson earned his undergraduate degree, graduating summa cum laude, from Creighton University and received his medical degree from Georgetown University. He completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, followed by a fellowship in orthopedic traumatology at Grant Medical Center and a second fellowship in adult reconstruction at University of Colorado Hospitals.

Raised in north-central Iowa, Dr. Michalson values hard work and community. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, as well as golfing, fishing, and exploring the outdoors.
