Cherry County Hospital welcomes our new general surgeon
The Cherry County Hospital is pleased to welcome Richard Malyszek, M.D, to Valentine. Dr. Malyszek is a highly experienced general and trauma surgeon; he is a graduate of Hahnemann University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at the Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Malyszek is a veteran who has served as Chief of General Surgery, as well as serving two tours of duty including Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq. After visiting the area, Dr. Malyszek is excited to begin practice as a permanent member of the Valentine community. Dr. Malyszek will begin seeing patients February 22, 2021. We would like to thank Dr. Morris Benson for his many years of service and want to congratulate him on his upcoming retirement.
