IT Tech (onsite)
The Information Technology Tech is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing hospital, computer based, software and hardware.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following –
•Client workstation administration with Windows 10 is required with the ability to diagnose software and PC/Malware/Antivirus problems.
• Medical application experience preferred (e.g., MEDITECH, GEPACS).
• Desktop and application virtualization experience preferred (e.g., VMWare VIEW).
• Comptia A+ and Microsoft Certified IT Professional preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office experience is required.
• Basic networking knowledge including an understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory User and Computer management is required.
• Excellent problem solving skills as well as good communication are required including excellent documentation skills.
• Applicant should be self motivating and possess a positive friendly attitude with the ability to work in a professional environment.
• Create, manage and alter reports identifying system performance and reporting requirements.
• Works closely with the Systems Administrator on daily tasks.
• Required to be on call every 4th week including nights and weekends or as designated.
• All other duties as assigned.

EQUIPMENT AND WORK AIDS: May include, but is not limited to, the following: Computers, switches, servers, and wireless technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or three to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with staff, patients and the public. Strong problem solving abilities. Good math, English, typing, and clerical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with others in making decisions. A preference for working with the public and other staff. Willingness to accept change.
• Ability to work closely and cooperatively with department personnel, the public, physicians, third party payors and other staff. High tolerance for stress.
